Priorities:

• Firewise USA® site recognition for Greater Big Sur neighborhoods.
• Chipper service for cleared vegetation (designing County-wide program in collaboration with local agencies).
• Landscape fuel reduction with shaded fuel breaks and thinning.
• Residential and business structure hardening against wildfire.
• Public information campaigns via web sites, newsletters, Town Halls, workshops, road and water association meetings.

The selection and prioritization of projects is a collaborative process involving the Greater Big Sur community and local agencies.
